BACKGROUND: This Master Coordination Agreement will allow the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center District to participate in Broward County transportation programs. The Coordination Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for any service to be performed. These terms and conditions shall apply, but not be limited to, all vehicles, equipment, personnel, training, labor and materials necessary to provide the transportation, scheduling, dispatching, reporting and monitoring of the transit service required. This agreement shall ensure that all personnel providing services are in compliance with any applicable federal, state and county regulations. The term of the Coordination Agreement shall begin on January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2018.                      

                     

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     TO APPROVE

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     No direct fiscal impact from this agreement.  Funding for the buses and services provided as part of this program are provided by FDOT and Agency Coordination Transportation (ACT) grants, as well as funding provided from the Older Americans Act, and the City’s medical appointment transportation program.
