APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENTS FUNDING/DONATION REQUEST PROGRAM FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS
BACKGROUND: On February 4, 2015 and June 3, 2015, the City Commission held two workshops to discuss City donations. The City Commission directed staff to develop a program available to both organizations and individuals. The amount requested cannot exceed $1,000 per organization or individual. Interested parties can fill out an application which will then be presented to the City Commission for consideration at the next regularly-scheduled City Commission meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve
FISCAL IMPACT: The proposed FY 2016 budget includes $10,000 within the City Commission budget for general contributions (001-0110-511.82-15).
