APPROVING AN AGREEMENT AND ADDENDUM WITH ACCELA, INC. FOR PUBLICSTUFF MOBILE APPLICATION SYSTEM FOR A PERIOD OF TWO MONTHS

BACKGROUND:                                           In 2014, the City entered into an agreement with PublicStuff for the mobile application system, “Our Margate”. In 2015, PublicStuff was acquired by Accela, Inc. This mobile application allows residents to submit requests (i.e. code compliance) and access critical government information. To date, the mobile application, available for free download in the Apple App Store and Google Play, has over 840 downloads. At this time, the City wishes to extend the current agreement with Accela, Inc. for two months (October 15, 2015 - December 14, 2015).

                     

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     Approve.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     The agreement term with Accela, Inc. is for two (2) months. The total cost to the City for this two (2) month agreement is for $833.34. This amount is based on a prorated annual fee of $5,000. Funding is available in FY 2016 in 001-0410-512.46.06.
