Title

APPROVAL OF AN EXTENSION TO THE TEMPORARY USE AGREEMENT WITH DP DEVELOPMENT OF THE TREASURE COAST, LLC FOR USE OF CRA-OWNED PROPERTY AT 1423 STATE ROAD 7  FOR A CONSTRUCTION STAGING AREA THROUGH JANUARY 30, 2016.

Body

BACKGROUND:                                           On July 1, 2015 the CRA Board approved a Temporary Use Agreement with DP Development of the Treasure Coast, LLC for use of the vacant CRA property at 1423 SR 7 as a temporary staging area for the Coconut Creek Parkway median project.  The Agreement was for a ninety (90) day period expiring at the end of September.  The project is still ongoing, therefore an amendment is needed to allow the continued use of the CRA property for staging purposes.  The requested amendment will extend the temporary use through January 30, 2016.

Construction vehicles, equipment and materials will continue to be stored on the site until completion of the project.  All other terms of the Agreement will remain the same including holding the City/CRA and its agents harmless and retaining a certificate of insurance naming the City of Margate and MCRA as additional insured.

RECOMMENDATION:                     Recommend approval of an extension of the Temporary Use Agreement with DP Development for use of the property located at 1423 State Road 7 to January 30, 2016.
