Title
AMENDING FY 2015-16 MASTER CONSULTING AND MANAGEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH RMA, LLC.
BACKGROUND: The current Master Consulting and Management Agreement with RMA, LLC was approved by the MCRA board on August 18, 2015. The Agreement provides for day to day management of the agency, and redevelopment consulting services including planning, development and marketing.
As with the previous year’s Letter of Agreement with RMA, the current Agreement outlines two categories of services that are billable at hourly rates, and stipulates a maximum amount for each category ($25,000 for General Consulting Services and $20,000 for Real Estate Development and Public Private Partnership Support). In order to ensure that RMA is able to provide the services that are most needed by the MCRA during the year, the proposed amendment would change the individual limits for each category to one total limit of $45,000 for both. The maximum dollar amount allowed per the Agreement would not change.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Amending the Master Consulting and Management
Agreement between the MCRA and RMA, LLC
FISCAL IMPACT: There would be no impact on the maximum allowable dollar amount per the
Agreement, however there would be more flexibility in the two consulting categories.
