APPROVING AN AGREEMENT AND ADDENDUM WITH ACCELA, INC. FOR PUBLICSTUFF MOBILE APPLICATION SYSTEM FOR A PERIOD OF TEN MONTHS
BACKGROUND: In 2014, the City entered into an agreement with PublicStuff for the mobile application system, “Our Margate”. In 2015, PublicStuff was acquired by Accela, Inc. This mobile application allows residents to submit requests (i.e. code compliance) and access government information. On October 7, 2015, the City Commission approved an agreement extension with Accela, Inc. for two months. With that extension set to expire on December 14, 2015, the City wishes to enter into a ten-month agreement (December 15, 2015 - October 14, 2016) which will allow for this agreement to run through the remainder of Fiscal Year 2016.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve.
FISCAL IMPACT: The agreement term with Accela, Inc. is for ten (10) months. The total cost to the City for this ten (10) month agreement is for $4,166.00. This amount is based on a prorated annual fee of $5,000. Funding is available in FY 2016 in 001-0410-512.46.06.
