Title

BA-01-2016 PERMISSION TO ERECT A WALL IN THE FRONT YARD AND SET BUILDING BEHIND THE WALL

Body

BACKGROUND: The property owner, Coconut Creek Automotive, will be building a vehicular storage and car preparation center for local car dealerships, and they are requiring strong security measures to protect the new cars that will be on property. They propose erecting a seven (7) foot high wall along Banks Road and N.W. 24th Street with a landscape buffer. Section 3.14(16) of the Code does not permit fences or walls to be erected in any front yard in commercial, mixed use, and industrial districts, except on a temporary basis.

The site plan for Coconut Creek Automotive was approved by the Development Review Committee on October 27, 2015.
