Title

BA-02-2016 PERMISSION TO PROVIDE A 25-FOOT SETBACK TO THE WALL ON BANKS ROAD INSTEAD OF THE REQUIRED 35-FOOT SETBACK.

Body

BACKGROUND: The property owner, Coconut Creek Automotive, requires a wall be placed along Banks Road and N.W. 24th Street for security purposes. The petitioner is requesting a variance for the wall on Banks Road to be placed 25-feet from the rights-of-way line which would be consistent with the buffer of 25-feet on NW 24th Street.  Section 24.7 of the Code requires that the minimum building setback from all streets rights-of-way that are 80 feet in width or greater be 35-feet.
