Title
AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE FUNDING FOR THE ACCOUNTANT POSITION WITHIN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR ACCOUNTANT SERVICES TO THE NORTHWEST FOCAL POINT SENIOR CENTER DISTRICT (NWFP), MARGATE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA), AND CITY OF MARGATE.
BACKGROUND: The Accountant position within the Finance Department, currently held by Accountant Katarzyna Nowak, was originally funded to provide accounting services to the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center District (25% allocation) and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (75% allocation). This reclassification will provide for amending the funding of accounting services as 25% to NWFP, 50% to MCRA, and 25% to the City of Margate in order to assist the City with general accounting duties.
RECOMMENDATION: For approval.
FISCAL IMPACT: Funding for City cost share from FY 2016 Budget or FY 2016 future budget amendment if necessary.
