Title

RESOLUTION - APPROVING THE RELOCATION REIMBURSEMENT AND HOLD HARMLESS, INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT WITH FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT COMPANY FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO LIFT STATION 22.

Body

BACKGROUND:                                          The lift station 22 rehabilitation project, which is located approximately 200 feet east of the intersection of West Atlantic Boulevard and Rock Island Road, requires the installation of a new electrical service.  Florida Power & Light (FPL) is requiring the new electrical service to come from a pole at the intersection of West Atlantic Boulevard and Rock Island Road.  FPL requires the Relocation Reimbursement and Hold Harmless, Indemnification Agreement to be signed before they will install the service in the public right-of-way.  DEES staff believes there is a low probability that the electrical service would need to be relocated and reimbursement fees paid by the city under this agreement to FPL.
