AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF THE ACCOUNT CLERK III POSITION TO AN ACCOUNT CLERK I POSITION WITHIN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT.

BACKGROUND:                     The City wishes to reclassify the Account Clerk III position to an Account Clerk I position due to needing a different level of financial clerical duties.  The current budget does not include the Account Clerk I position in the Finance Department.  This reclassification will provide authorization for the proposed change in positions.                     

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     Salary and certain benefit savings due to lower position.
