PETITIONER: FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE 75 

Body

 

BACKGROUND: The Fraternal Order of Police requests consideration of a carnival to be held at

1000 N. State Road 7. The carnival plans to operate from September 1-11, 2016 (11 days); with three days for set-up (August 29-31) and three days for break down (Sept 12-14), a total of 17 days on the property.  The event would include rides, food and game concessions and live entertainment.

 

The Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), the property owner, approved a Temporary Use Agreement at the CRA meeting on May 11, 2016 for the dates September 1 through September 11, 2016.

A revision to the Temporary Use Agreement to expand the dates to include set-up and break down is scheduled to come before the CRA Board at the CRA meeting on August 23, 2016.
