RESOLUTION - APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH BROWARD SHERIFF’S OFFICE TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY VEHICLES FOR TEMPORARY PURPOSES. VEHICLES INCLUDE LADDER TRUCKS, FIRE TRUCKS, AND RESCUE TRUCKS.

BACKGROUND: Margate Fire Rescue normally keeps several types of emergency vehicles in reserve in case a front line vehicle is taken out of service for repair and/or service. This agreement will allow the City the opportunity to reduce our reserve fleet and potentially save money on maintenance costs.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve.
