REPORT ON DAMAGES TO THE MCRA MAINTAINED MEDIAN AREAS

BACKGROUND: Since May of this year, the MCRA has received eleven (11) reports of traffic accidents causing damage to the landscaping, irrigation and signage mainly to the median areas on State Road 7.
Most of the accidents were reported which resulted in payment of $10,934.50 paid in property damage claims by the operator’s insurance companies. For those unreported accidents, the MCRA had to pay $3,749.00.
Attached for your information is a summary of accidents/damages reported to date.
