CRA RULES OF PROCEDURE
BACKGROUND:
At the CRA Board meeting of September 14, 2016, board members inquired about the applicable rules of conduct and procedures for CRA board meetings.
There are Rules of Conduct adopted by the City Commission that apply to all public meetings held by boards, committees, and agencies of whatever nature or kind and established by the City Commission and including the City Commission. A copy of those rules is attached-no action is necessary to enforce them.
Also attached are proposed Rules of Procedures for CRA meetings that outline duties and powers, the order of agenda items, meeting protocol, etc. These are similar to rules followed by the City Commission at their meetings.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the proposed Rules of Procedures for MCRA board meetings.
