BACKGROUND:                                          

Attached is a list of property to be declared surplus to the needs of the City.  Various inventory items have surpassed their useful lifespan.  Also, some items have been previously disposed of by departments or were unaccounted for; these and the other items on the list are requested for declaration as surplus items.

 

Staff seeks the City Commission’s authorization for disposal of surplus items by means of the method deemed most appropriate by the Administration.

FISCAL IMPACT:                     

N/A - Any funds received from auctioned, sold, scrapped or traded items will be credited to the appropriate fund based on the item’s originating department.
