Title
APPROVING THE LEASE-PURCHASE OF ONE QUINT/LADDER EMERGENCY VEHICLE AND A COMPLEMENT OF EQUIPMENT FROM HALL-MARK FIRE APPARATUS. APPROVAL FOR THE LEASE PURCHASE FINANCING OF TWO EMERGENCY VEHICLES (FORD SUV). LEASE-PURCHASE FINANCING WILL BE THROUGH EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH LESSOR SUNTRUST EQUIPMENT FINANCE AND LEASING CORP.
BACKGROUND: Continuing the implementation of a systematic replacement plan of aging emergency vehicles, immediate fiscal impact is lessened by entering into a lease-purchase agreement. Vehicles/equipment will be acquired through the Florida Sheriff’s Association, Orange County, and Broward Sheriff contracts.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve.
FISCAL IMPACT: 1st of 5 annual payments of $ 205,909.40 due 10/01/2017.
