Title

APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.22 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES (VII); PROVIDING FOR SUNDAY HOURS FOR PACKAGE SALES.

Body

BACKGROUND:                     At the October 19, 2016 City Commission Workshop, the City Commission directed City staff to draft an ordinance providing for the elimination of alcoholic license allocations by district, as well as providing for revised hours of package sales on Sundays. At the first reading of the ordinance on January 18, 2017, the City Commission directed that the proposed ordinance be split into two, removing the proposed revision to Sunday sales hours.
