PROVIDING FOR COMMISSION MEETING RULES FOR MARGATE CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS TO BE AS DETERMINED BY THE MAYOR.
BACKGROUND: Previous resolutions approved by the City Commission provided for each Mayor to recommend a set of rules of conduct of the public at public meetings and rules of procedures for City Commission meetings. These rules were subsequently approved by the City Commission. The most recent set of rules was approved by the City Commission (Resolution 15-150) on December 9, 2015.
This proposed resolution provides that each Mayor shall set Commission Meeting Rules. The item was tabled from the January 18, 2017, Regular City Commission meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: For consideration by the City Commission.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
