APPROVAL OF FAÇADE MODIFICATION - 2401-2403 N. STATE ROAD 7
BACKGROUND:
The property located at 2401-2403 N. State Road 7 received a $25,000 Façade Improvement Grant from the MCRA in April of 2015. The previous tenant, Salsa Fresca, closed operations and Anne Marie’s Restaurant is in the process of moving into the space. Anne Marie’s is modifying the southern façade of the building by adding a covered outdoor dining area. The stained concrete patio will be approximately 400 sq. ft. in size and will accommodate sixteen additional diners. The patio will be covered by a fabric awning and surrounded by a decorative wood railing.
Per the approved Agreement for Construction Reimbursement dated April 13, 2015, changes made to the exterior of the structure for a period of five (5) years must be approved by the MCRA. The applicant has submitted a letter of request and a copy of the plans for the board’s review.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the modifications (outdoor dining area) to the property located at 2401-2403 N. State Road 7.
