APPROVING WAIVING BIDDING FOR THE TRAINING SUBSCRIPTION TO TARGET SOLUTIONS ONLINE LEARNING SOFTWARE USED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO MANAGE AND TRACK TRAINING HOURS THAT ARE REQUIRED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND ISO.
BACKGROUND: This resolution is to waive bidding for the annual purchase of the software that manages the Fire Department’s State and ISO training requirements. This is an annually budgeted item. Target Solutions is a company we have utilized for managing our training program since 2012.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve.
FISCAL IMPACT: Budget cost of $11, 053.00 from the Fire Department’s ISO account no. 001-2010-522.46-46.
