BACKGROUND: The Code of Ordinances references the Department of Environmental and Engineering Services in Sections 2-18, 3.30, and 3.31 for zoning functions such as zoning confirmation letters, reasonable accommodation procedures, and walkway sales. Zoning staff is within the Economic Development Department and currently executes these codified functions.
