BA-10-17: VARIANCE REQUEST FOR PARKING MODIFICATIONS FOR THE TOSCANA PROJECT LOCATED AT 3050 TOSCANA LANE WEST

BACKGROUND:                       The petitioner proposes some additional parking modifications throughout the site regarding the drive aisle width, parallel parking pull-outs, and tandem parking.

 

                     An amended site plan which included some parking modifications was approved by the Development Review Committee on October 25, 2016. A copy of the meeting minutes is attached.

 

                     This item was heard at the April 4, 2017 Board of Adjustment meeting. There was a motion by Mr. Dangervil to approve the item, seconded by Ms. Lore. During discussion, there was an amendment made by Mr. Artner, seconded by Mr. Dangervil for the condition that the ends of the parallel parking island would be grass only for visibility purposes.  The amendment was approved with a 4-1 vote; however, the motion as amended was not voted on.  The purpose of this meeting is to formalize the vote on this item.
