BACKGROUND:

The site plan was approved by the Development Review Committee (DRC) on November 8, 2016.  In addition, an ordinance is in process to rezone this property and two others to bring the Margate Zoning Code and the Future Land Use Map into compliance. This property will be rezoned from M-1A Industrial Park to S-1 Recreational district.  This ordinance was approved by the DRC on February 14, 2017.  It was approved by the Planning and Zoning Board on May 2, 2017 with a 5-0 vote.

A plat amendment was approved by the DRC on February 28, 2017.  The plat amendment was approved by the Planning and Zoning Board on April 4, 2017 with 5-0 vote and by the Margate City Commission on May 3, 2017 with a 5-0 vote.

Copies of the minutes from both DRC meetings and the Planning and Zoning Board meeting on April 4, 2017 are attached.  An excerpt from a draft copy of the minutes from the Planning and Zoning Board on May 2, 2017 is also attached.
