RESOLUTION - AMENDING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MARGATE, FLORIDA AND THOMPSON CONSULTING SERVICES, APPROVED BY CITY RESOLUTION NO. 12-386; PROVIDING FOR THE ACCEPTANCE AND RATIFICATION OF THOMPSON’S OPTIONAL HOURLY RATES OF $105.00 FOR THE SERVICES OF A GRANT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT AND $75.00 FOR A GRANT MANAGEMENT ANALYST WHICH WERE INITIALLY PROPOSED UNDER RFP 2013-005; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION OF A PUBLIC RECORDS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND:
On September 18, 2013, the City awarded RFP 2013-005 to Thompson Consulting Services under Resolution 12-386. The primary service to be provided to the City under the awarded Agreement was disaster debris monitoring services at cubic yard pricing. However, as part of its RFP submission, Thompson also offered to the City a variety of disaster related consulting service positions at an optional hourly rate for each position. Included positions were Grant Management Consultant and Grant Management Analyst. This amendment to the Agreement ratifies the acceptance and inclusion into the Agreement of the hourly rates for those two positions.
