BACKGROUND: As part of phase two of the David Park improvement project, ten additional parking spaces are proposed to serve the playground area. The proposed design of the angled parking allows drivers to back out into a public right-of-way. Section 23-6(A)(6) prohibits back out parking.

 

RECOMMENDATION: The item was approved by the Development Review Committee (DRC) on September 26, 2017, subject to the Committee’s comments and approval of a variance by the Board of Adjustment.                      A draft copy of the minutes from the DRC meeting held on September 26, 2017 is attached.
