ANNOUNCING ZONING IN PROGRESS RELATED TO PENDING CITY-WIDE RESIDENTIAL PARKING REQUIREMENTS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BACKGROUND:                     As directed by the City Commission at the March 7, 2018 meeting, staff has begun the process of introducing for Commission approval amendments to the zoning code to modify parking requirements for residential parking. The Notice of Zoning in Progress is intended to provide formality to the initiation of the anticipated code amendments.  At the March 21, 2018 City Commission meeting, the Zoning in Progress resolution was tabled to the April 4, 2018 City Commission meeting.  When discussing this item, the City Commission asked staff to bring back information on residential parking requirements for the April 4th meeting.

                     

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.
