Title
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN ATLANTIC STUDIOS, INC., AND THE MARGATE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE MARGATE UNDER THE EVENT MOON EVENT SERIES DURING FY 2018-2019.
BACKGROUND: Chris Gaidry, Atlantic Studios, has operated the popular Margate Under the Moon (MUM) event series since 2016 during the months of August-November. It is being proposed that MUM events be scheduled to run the first Saturday of the month beginning October 6, 2018 and running through September 7, 2019 (12 commencements). The event would be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and would include musical entertainment, food trucks, and a variety of vendors (arts, crafts, small businesses, and food) as outlined in the attached Scope of Services.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval
FISCAL IMPACT: The cost per event would be $6,000 or $72,000 for the full year which would be paid from account #140-0510-512.31-45 pending approval of the budget for fiscal year 2018-2019.
