Title
APPROVING A TWO PERCENT (2.0%) COST OF LIVING (COLA) FOR THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1, 2018, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2019, FOR THE CITY CLERK; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND: Per “Section 5 - Salary” of the current City Clerk Employment Agreement, on October 1, 2018, and thereafter, Employer agrees to increase said base salary and other benefits of Employee in such amounts and to such extent as the Commission may determine. The Employee would not be a participant in the Margate Step Plan.
Per “Section 5.1 - Performance Evaluation”, the Commission shall conduct a performance evaluation of Employee on a schedule, procedure and process determined by its sole discretion, subject to applicable provisions of Charter of the City of Margate or to applicable City Codes.
RECOMMENDATION: For consideration.
