BACKGROUND:                     On March 16, 2018, the Governor signed off on the State of Florida Budget which included an appropriation of $1,000,000 for the City’s Fire Station 58 Replacement project. This agenda item is an Intent to Fund Agreement with the Department of Financial Services to provide for the terms and conditions to receive the appropriation for this project.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     Project costs are to be determined upon completion of the bid process. There is $5.2 million currently budgeted in the fiscal year 2019 budget.
