Title
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER FOR THE CONTRACT WITH ALL FLORIDA CONTRACTING SERVICES AWARDED UNDER RESOLUTION 18-092 FOR BID NO. 2018-015 - GENERATOR ENCLOSURE REPLACEMENT (CORAL GATE) PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT OF $32,000; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND: The City awarded a contract to All Florida Contracting Services under Resolution 18-092 for Bid No. 2018-015 - Generator Enclosure Replacement (Coral Gate). After award of the work and an opportunity for the awarded contractor to more closely examine the generator, it was determined that the fuel tank which is nearing normal lifespan expectancy, should also be replaced during the course of the work. DEES agrees with this determination and recommends a change order approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve change order to contract with All Florida Contracting Services.
