RESOLUTION - VACATING, RELEASING, AND ABANDONING A UTILITY EASEMENT AT 5496 NW 27TH COURT; LENNAR HOMES, LLC, PETITIONER.

BACKGROUND:                                          The easement proposed for vacation is for a temporary gravity sewer line that was abandoned to allow construction of the proposed townhome development and the new water and sewer facilities to service the new development.  A utility easement for a temporary sewer lift station and a force main to service the existing facilities during construction has been granted by the developer and is scheduled for acceptance by the City Commission as a separate agenda item.  Utility easements for the new water and sewer facilities at this new development will be granted to the City by the developer after completion of construction of the facilities.

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     Approve
