Title
DISCUSSION ON PROPOSED PARKS AND RECREATION BOND PROJECTS.
BACKGROUND: On May 16, 2018, Resolution 18-056 for the issuance of General Obligation (GO) Bonds was approved. On November 6, 2018 the electors of the City of Margate approved the issuance of the GO bonds, not to exceed $10,000,000, to finance the costs of acquiring, constructing, equipping, renovating, replacing and improving parks and recreation projects within the City.
RECOMMENDATION: To determine the projects that will be completed using bond proceeds, including each project’s scope, proposed budget, and priority. Only projects that were originally listed on Exhibit A of Resolution 18-056 may be considered.
