TO THE FIVE MEMBER MARGATE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD FOR A TERM COMMENCING MARCH 22, 2019 - MARCH 21, 2020.
BACKGROUND: The Margate Board of Adjustment is a five (5) member committee with one (1) year terms. The passing of Ordinance 2013-2 on March 6, 2013, created the current appointment and application procedures for the Margate Board of Adjustment. The backup has a detailed memorandum from the City Clerk with further information.
At the March 19, 2017, Regular City Commission meeting, the City Commission approved the appointments of five (5) members to the Planning & Zoning Board for a one-year term expiring on March 21, 2018.
At the November 15, 2017, Regular City Commission meeting, the City Commission approved Resolution 17-144 (5-0) extending the current terms of the Board of Adjustment and Planning & Zoning Board as March 19, 2017, through March 21, 2019.
