Title
APPROVING ACQUISITION OF A 2019 RESCUE UNIT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FROM REV RTC D/B/A/HALL-MARK RTC, TO INCLUDE A 2019 FREIGHTLINER M2 CHASSIS WITH PRICING PER THE FLORIDA SHERIFF’S ASSOCIATION BID NO. FSA18-VEF13.0; PROVIDING FOR WAIVING OF BIDDING FOR A CUSTOM WHEELED COACH AMBULANCE BUILD-OUT AS STANDARDIZATION TO MATCH EXISTING UNITS; NOT TO EXCEED $336,591.46; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND:
This purchase will replace an in-service unit that has reached the end of its usable service life. The unit includes the latest technology in pre-hospital EMS transport. It also includes the latest clean air exhaust for diesel emissions.
