RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH LANDSCAPE SERVICE PROFESSIONALS, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES.

BACKGROUND: On December 11, 2018, the MCRA Board approved the award of RFP No. 2018-05 for Landscaping and Irrigation Services to Landscape Service Professionals, Inc. The annual cost for this contract for the enhanced base annual landscape and irrigation services is $261,510.50. Also, under the RFP the proposers listed the cost for additional services to be contracted only if necessary. As a result, staff is requesting Board approval to amend the contract to cover additional costs that may arise to be paid on the contracted prices. The additional items and yearly amounts are the following:
• 5% Contingency = $13,075.52
• Refurbishments = $40,000
• Repairs due to Motor Vehicle Accidents = $25,000
Total: $78,075.52
