BACKGROUND:

The Police Department budgeted for the upgrade replacement of laptop PCs which are critical to daily operations.  CDW-G has been a reliable and cost effective source for the City’s purchases of IT related equipment.  The vendor has an array of brand options and has been awarded multiple governmental contracts as pricing options.  Based on the City’s longstanding relationship with CDW-G and the volume of the needed laptop PC order, the vendor has offered below existing governmental contract pricing.

The accompanying CDW-G quote No. KNFF445 shows the MSRP pricing, individual pricing from three existing governmental contracts, and finally the special pricing offered to the City for the laptop PC and the extended service agreement.
