Title
APPROVING A TASK ORDER FOR THE AGREEMENT WITH SALTZ MICHELSON ARCHITECTS, INC. FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND RELATED SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF A NEW FIRE STATION 58; PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND CHANGES IN SCOPE OF WORK.
BACKGROUND: The initial contract in 2017 was for $235,915.00. Due to the scope of work and matters related to the contract, Saltz Michelson Architects is requesting a task order pursuant to the existing 2017 agreement which will bring the price to $369,912.27. This amount is in addition to the $82,719.96 already expended on the original contract.
RECOMMENDATION: City Staff recommends Approval
FISCAL IMPACT: $452,632.23 total, of which $82,719.96 has already been paid out.
Additional funds will be appropriated with the FY 2020
Budget Amendment that is presented in November.
