Title
APPROVING A SECOND EXTENSION FOR THE BUSINESS INCENTIVE GRANT FOR VO AN VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT LOCATED AT 1821 NORTH STATE ROAD 7
BACKGROUND: The MCRA approved a Business Incentive Grant for Vo An Vietnamese Restaurant in an amount not to exceed $25,000 for interior construction of the commercial operating space for a new restaurant. The grant was approved via Resolution 592 on March 13, 2019. An extension until October 30, 2019 was granted via Resolution 608 on September 24, 2019. Copies of both approvals are attached.
The property passed all final inspections by the initial extension deadline of October 30, 2019 (Inspection History Report attached). In order for the property owner to obtain a Certificate of Completion (CC), a Survey Report must be obtained and provided to Zoning/Development Services Department. Mr. Truong, property owner, said the survey company told him that he should have the report by Monday,
November 11, 2019.
The property owner is of the understanding that the Survey Report will complete fulfill all the requirements for processing of the grant reimbursement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval
FISCAL IMPACT: Up to $25,000. Funds for this project are budgeted under Property Improvement Grants account #140-0510-512.83-35.
