Title
RESOLUTION - APPROVING FEDERALLY-FUNDED SUBAWARD AND GRANT FORM AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FOR DEBRIS REMOVAL, EMERGENCY PROTECTIVE MEASURES AND REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DISASTER DAMAGED FACILITIES FROM HURRICANE IRMA.
BACKGROUND: The City is required to execute a Subaward and Grant Agreement for each project obligation in order to receive reimbursement for costs from Hurricane Irma. The agreement provided with this agenda item is a sample form agreement. The Florida Division of Emergency Management recommends that recipients provide for delegation of the authority to execute agreements and amendments in order to reduce the time between obligation and reimbursement of funding.
RECOMMENDATION: For approval.
FISCAL IMPACT: To be determined based upon reimbursement provided by the Florida Division of Emergency Management.
