MARGATE 2.0
BACKGROUND: The Mellgren Planning Group (TMPG) was contracted to modify the Future Land Use Element of the Margate Comprehensive Plan. TMPG has conducted public outreach, drafted an Existing Conditions Report, workshopped with the City Commission on February 13, 2020, and provided a draft copy of the proposed modifications to the Future Land Use Element (FLUE) to staff. Staff reviewed the FLUE and provided comments to TMPG. This workshop was scheduled to provide TMPG with direction to finalize concepts of the draft FLUE prior to initiating the formal review and adoption process.
