AMENDING THE FY 2020-2021 BUDGET BY TRANSFERRING $66,150 FROM THE CIP-PROJECTS CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE SPORTS COMPLEX COVERED SPORTS FIELD ACCOUNT FOR ADDITIONAL PROJECT MODIFICATIONS

BACKGROUND: A budget transfer of $66,150 is necessary to fund two Change Orders to the Covered Sports Field project construction agreement with MBR Construction, Inc. Detailed explanations of the two Change Orders have been provided under a separate agenda item for this meeting. In brief, Change Order #1 is for $50,000 and provides for stormwater retention modifications required by the Broward County Surface Water Management Division; Change Order #2 is for $16,150 and provides for the installation of a centralized, underground electrical system for special events.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of a budget transfer of $66,150.
FISCAL IMPACT: Budget transfer of $66,150 from “CIP-Projects Contingency” account #340-0510-590.91-02 to “Sports Complex Covered Field” account #340-0510-512.68-79
