Title

AWARDING CONTINUING SERVICES AGREEMENTS WITH CPZ ARCHITECTS, INC., SALTZ MICHELSON ARCHITECTS, STILES ARCHITECTURAL GROUP, AND WALTERS-ZACKRA ASSOCIATES, FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS MCRA RFQ 2021-01 ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

Body

BACKGROUND:                      At the MCRA meeting on April 14, 2021, the Board approved authorization (via motion) to negotiate continuing services agreements with four architectural firms as a result of the MCRA Request For Qualifications (RFQ) 2021-01 - Architectural Services. A negotiation team was established and subsequently negotiated continuing services agreements with all four firms. Those agreements are now being presented for consideration by the MCRA Board.

If the agreements are approved, the four firms shall be authorized by staff to provide to architectural services as needed on the rate schedules stipulated in each individual firm’s agreement with the MCRA and in accordance with all applicable governing laws provided for under the State of Florida Consultant’s Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) Statute 287.055 and other applicable law.

RECOMMENDATION:                     Approval

FISCAL IMPACT:                     The MCRA would not incur any costs until services are utilized as part of future projects. Expenditure limits will then be based upon available budgeted funds in the various Capital Improvement fund accounts.
