BACKGROUND:                                          The MCRA and the City of Margate entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) in August, 2016 that outlined the relationship between the two entities and provided for funding for City employees that performed work on behalf of the MCRA and other support services provided by the City on behalf of the MCRA. The original agreement provided for the compensation to be paid by the MCRA to the City for services provided by the City to the MCRA on an annual basis.

 

Per Section 4.1 of the original agreement, this second amendment provides for the amount of funding to be paid by the MCRA to the City for the 2021-2022 fiscal year and is compliant with Florida Statutes, Chapter 163, Part III, Section 163.387(6).

 

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

 

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     $1,346,018 from the MCRA for the 2021-2022 fiscal year
