LEGAL DESCRIPTION: PARCEL 3 OF “ORIOLE GOLF & TENNIS CLUB SECTION TWO”, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 78, PAGE 21, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA.

BACKGROUND: Applicant is requesting to amend the Margate Comprehensive Plan, Element Future Land Use, Future Land Use Map, to change the land use designation of 7870 Margate Boulevard from Commercial Recreation to Residential R(10), as well as a text amendment to allow for same. The applicant has submitted a rezoning application in conjunction with the land use plan amendment from S-1 to R-3 zoning district. The DRC previously reviewed the same request on July 27, 2021.
