UPDATE ON PROPOSED CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT DESIGN IN THE MCRA
BACKGROUND: In March, 2021, the MCRA Board accepted a proposal from Steven Fett Architecture, Inc. to provide architectural services to develop a masterplan for the Central Business District in the MCRA. Since that time, Mr. Fett has reviewed past plans/concepts with staff, evaluated existing conditions, and has met with the MCRA Board members to discuss suggestions, ideas and concerns.
Mr. Fett will be presenting a “work in progress” draft of a proposed design for the Central Business District.
RECOMMENDATION: For Board review and discussion
FISCAL IMPACT: This task was included in the previously approved proposal funded through the Professional Services-Other account #140-0510-512.31-09
