Title

RESOLUTION - APPROVING A TWO PERCENT (2.0%) BASE WAGE ADJUSTMENT FOR THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1, 2022 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2023 AND ONE-TIME $5,000.00 ECONOMIC IMPACT PAYMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023, FOR ALL NON-BARGAINED PERSONNEL; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.

Body

BACKGROUND:                                          This Resolution provides for a two-percent (2%) base wage adjustment and one-time $5,000.00 economic impact payment for all non-bargained personnel (excluding part time personnel). Providing a one-time economic impact payment, for fiscal year 2023, acknowledges the increased economic costs affecting all employees, without the additional compounded cost created by only utilizing a percentage adjustment.

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

FISCAL IMPACT:                     The two percent (2.0%) base wage adjustment is already included in the 2023 budget. Funding for the one-time economic impact payment will be provided for during budget amendment utilizing fiscal year 2023 available funds.
