APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ________________________ TO THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD FOR THE TERM COMMENCING FEBRUARY 1, 2024, THROUGH JANUARY 31, 2026
BACKGROUND: The City of Margate Civil Service Board is scheduled to meet as needed with five (5) board members who are either elected or appointed. Civil Service Board members serve a two (2) year term.
• Two (2) members are appointed by the City Commission
• Two (2) members are elected by the Employees
• One (1) member is appointed by the four (4) Civil Service Board members
Current Civil Service Board Members
• Jasmin Ubillus - Appointed by the City Commission (This appointment is to fill this upcoming vacancy)
• Jared Schwartz - Elected by the Employees
• Pierre Basquin, Vice Chair - Appointed by the City Commission
• Kelly Kandibovich, Secretary/Chief Examiner - Elected by the Employees
• Vacant - To be filled at next Civil Service Meeting April 2024 by Civil Service members
