Title
SIGN WAIVER APPLICATION 24-00400014 - FOR PERMISSION TO INSTALL A WALL SIGN WITH THREE LINES OF COPY ON A FRONTAGE WITH MULTIPLE SIGNS, AND PERMISSION TO INSTALL TWO BANNER SIGNS.
BACKGROUND: Applicant was most recently granted a sign waiver in 2022 for permission to install multiple signs throughout the hospital campus, including allowing four signs to be installed on the south frontage. Applicant wants to replace one of the four signs on the south frontage with an internally illuminated channel letter sign that has three lines of copy. Additionally, applicant is seeking permission to install a banner sign on the south frontage, and a banner sign on the east frontage. Margate code limits wall sign to two lines of copy, and one sign per frontage. Margate code generally prohibits banner signs.
RECOMMENDATION: Conditional approval
