APPROVE AN EXTENSION TO THE AGREEMENT WITH GAI CONSULTANTS FOR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE MCRA REDEVELOPMENT PLAN UPDATE
BACKGROUND: At the February 16, 2023, MCRA meeting the Board approved an Agreement with GAI Consultants, Inc. for consulting services for the Margate CRA Redevelopment Plan Update. Also, the MCRA is scheduled to sunset on August 31, 2026, and GAI is exploring feasible options for extending the sunset date. The original contract was for 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed or Purchase Order date. The Purchase Order was dated March 9, 2023.
This amendment would add an additional 365 days to their contract, up to and including March 9, 2025. No additional fees are required at this time beyond their original contracted price.
RECOMMENDATION: For approval
FISCAL IMPACT: The contracted amount of $95,340 was budgeted for under account #140-0510-512.31-74 Redevelopment Plan Update.
